Profile of Principal
Mr. Reza Bin Abu Bakar holds a Bachelor Degree in Urban and Regional Planning (Hons.), from University Technology of Malaysia. Since graduating in 1988, Mr. Reza has served in both private and public sectors before founding his own firm, namely Perunding Permai.
During his tenure with the Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang (MPPP) through 1990 to 1991, as an Assistant Director to the Town Planning Department, he was accountable and was very much involved in the areas of processing of Planning Permission and Building Plans.
Mr. Reza had also gained valuable experiences in related forms of project planning, project management and actual development process through his attachment with private firms of various disciplines. He was with the Property Management and Valuation firm, namely CH William Talhar & Wong Sdn. Bhd. in 1989 to 1990, with the Architect firm - OKP Associates Sdn. Bhd. in 1992 to 1994. He too affiliated himself with a Consulting Engineering firm, involving EIA studies in 1994.
With all those precious experiences, Mr. Reza courageously started his Perunding Permai in September 1994.
Mr. Reza along with Perunding Permai have gained recognition from the Department of Environment, Malaysian Institute Of Planners, Board of Town Planners Malaysia as well as from Perbadanan Memajukan Iktisad Negeri Terengganu. The various recognitions are as follows:
1. Registration as EIA Consultant from Department Of Environment, Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (For Individual - Registration No. I 00033 dated 12/8/1994).
2. Elected as Corporate Membership with Malaysian Institute of Planners (MIP) (Membership No. 324/95 dated 26/5/1995).
3. Registration as EIA Consultant from Department Of Environment, Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (For Firm - Registration No.F 00055 dated 12/8/1995).
4. Registration as Town Planning Consultation Firm from Malaysian Institute of Planners (Registration No. PC/B.051/96 dated 6/5/1996).
5. Elected as Registered Town Planners with Board Of Town Planners Malaysia (Registration No.A0058 dated 16/12/1999).
6. Registration as Town Planning and EIA Consultant Firms from Perbadanan Memajukan Iktisad Negeri Terengganu (dated 15/2/2000).
